3/3/2010-American Idol (NASDAQ:NWSA) producers were left scrambling to stage a singing contest early after a contestant, Crystal Bowersox, was hospitalized.
Bowersox, reportedly a diabetic, checked into a LA hospital on Tuesday just a few hours before she was scheduled to perform as one of 10 female semi-finalists.
As a result, the remaining male contestants were forced to sing for the judges a day earlier than expected.
The 24-year old mom is expected to return to the line-up when American Idol (NASDAQ:NWS) airs tonight.
